Position size

Risk a fixed fraction of the account on every trade and let the stop distance set the lot size, never the other way round. The default is 1 %, the same rule our own systems use.

EURUSD on a 5-digit account: 1 point = $1 per lot (USD account). XAUUSD with contract size 100: 1 point (0.01) = $1 per lot. Check the contract specification of your broker.
